The ceiling fan remote controlcome with a default frequency, but you can also adjust this by consulting your fan's documentation. Once you've figured out what frequency your fan runs on, you can use the remote to change its speed. Just make sure to remember to turn off other ceiling fans before switching. Most fans only have one wire connecting the receiver and the fan.
The ceiling fan remote receiver will have wires marked with white, blue, and black. It will also have labels for the motor wire and light fixture wire. You will need to connect these to the appropriate colour wires in the ceiling fan electrical box. Once the wiring is completed, you can use the remote to control the ceiling fan.
A ceiling fan with remote control has a receiver on the ceiling that receives signals from a remote control and sends them to the fan's blades. This receiver then interprets the signals and speeds up or slows the fan according to preset settings. The remote control also controls the light.
